Mercy Johnson 'Drug Dealer' Husband to Become Edo State Deputy Governor

Love is a beautiful thing and its feeling is best experienced than explained hence the reason why star actress Mercy Johnson chose an ex drug dealer for a husband. Neither I nor anyone have the right to question her decisions because matters of love are matters of the heart.

What I don't understand is why a man whose reputation is in shambles would accept to be the running mate of the gubernatorial candidate of Edo state Peoples Democratic party. Marrying a well loved actress does not automatically erase all the crimes you committed in faraway Europe.

I know the Johnsons have been in bed with diverse controversies ranging from theft to adultery allegations and they always do have a comeback but not this time around as these are not mere speculations but 100% facts. The evidences are there to back my claims.

I concluded findings on Mr Odianosen in 2011 when he decided to marry the people's favourite but I did not have any reasons to publish my findings as everyone deserves to love and be loved. Besides, Mercy is an adult who should be fully responsible for her actions and inaction.

I honestly do not care if Mr Odianosen still does drug peddling but what I do care about is my dearly beloved country Nigeria and my state in particular.  This is a period where we are trying to sanitize the political terrain and its rather unfortunate that some 'rascals' are trying so hard in thwarting our efforts and putting us in that vicious recycling of corrupt personnel in key political positions.

'Prince' Odianosen should realize that matters of love and politics are different. Nigerians are not that gullible (although some are). If he think that he would easily ride on the back of his wife's fame to power, then he should seriously have a rethink and do the honourable, which is to step down from the political race.

If Mercy Johnson was to be sincere, she would agree with me that her husband, Mr Odianosen is not even qualified to head a local community group. It is not okay to change and say sorry and think everything will be fine; if that is the case there would be no need for the Police and the law. As much as I believe that everyone deserves a second chance but one thing is I think is necessary when it comes to filling key political position is reputation. A repute man is all we need in this new era, we are sick and tired of corrupt leaders.

Little drops of water makes an ocean; the sanctification of Nigeria's political structure does not rest solely on the President of the country, it is the responsibility of every Nigerian, hence the reason for this epistle but then again, the final decision lies in the hands of the Edo people.

In all sincerity and purpose, Pastor Ize Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic party is an admirable politician who genuinely has the people of Edo state at heart but its such a shame that the person he could find as running mate is one who has a questionable character, with drugs and theft allegations hanging on his shoulders.

It is quite pitiable that the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo state will be a case of choosing between two evils. May the lesser evil wins!
